The work program of the International Association of Treasury Services for 2021 was jointly presented to the participants by the Secretary-General of the Association Jean-Marc Niel and the President of the Association Tetiana Sliuz.

Among the priority topics that members of the organization plan to work on next year at seminars: “Development of regulations (vademecum) of the Association as a guide for administrations of public accounting in creating a mechanism for risk management in accounting”, “Improvement of work (acculturation) of the Association and accounting reforms”. The theme of the XIV Annual Symposium is: “Risk Management and Change management” with two sub-themes: “Human Resources” and “Information Systems”.

With the unanimous decision of the members of the Association, the right to hold the XIV Annual Symposium and the General Assembly in 2021 remained with Ukraine. In case of a favorable sanitary and epidemiological situation, these events will take place in May.

Given this, the composition of the Executive Bureau will remain unchanged next year: Ukraine (President), Togo and Mauritania (Vice Presidents), Comoros, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Madagascar, Morocco and Senegal (Administrators).

After agreeing on administrative issues at the General Assembly, the members of the Association continued their practical work in the framework of the thematic seminar: “Experience of the COVID-19 crisis for accounting administrations”. The speakers were: Morocco, Ukraine and Vietnam, who presented their own experience in ensuring the livelihood of their countries, including public accounting bodies on different continents, in the context of COVID-19.

Cooperation between countries is only gaining strength. A webinar for members of the Association will take place in the autumn of this year, where Ukraine and Vietnam will share their own experience in the field of information technology.
